I liked the comfortable, safe environment with no obligation, no pressure to join the church or become Christian. I liked the format mix of poems, songs, music, readings, short films, discussion and silent prayer. Nicely done. I liked the open and honesty from my group facilitator, who shared his experience of growing up Catholic, then leaving the church for many years exploring spirituality through meditation and other channels, then coming back to the church in a more open, positive environment.
My experience with Invite 2.0 was most illuminating. The Invite 2.0 team was welcoming, kind, interesting, knowledgeable and resilient. The movies and discussions we shared were thought provoking, meaningful and resonated with me, such that I feel God’s presence more strongly than ever before. For those reading this, I heartily pray you invest the time to attend Invite 2.0.
Invite 2.0 offers a welcoming environment in which some of life’s most profound questions are thoughtfully discussed and explored. There is no homework, no tests, no pressure – just an opportunity to learn and grow.
I really liked the movies and hearing what other people felt about them and I loved the poems. - Anonymous
The Invite 2.0 program was real, with nice people. It was very helpful.
As an Invite 2.0 member and facilitator, I enjoyed listening to the invite 2.0 participants and members talk about their thoughts about God and their journey towards faith in God in their lives.
It has been a privilege, as well as a wonderful learning experience, to engage in spiritual exploration with those participating in the Invite 2.0 program. The discussions have been rich and deeply authentic. We are all involved in an ongoing journey of faith and Invite 2.0 has provided a safe and comfortable environment for sharing our various pathways.
